Forensics CP 1/2 year: D Block

This one semester course explores the various scientific methods of solving crimes. Students will learn to perform numerous laboratory techniques that will supplement reading, research and projects. The study of forensic science uses multiple scientific pathways to analyze a crime scene such as fingerprinting, hair and fiber analysis, drug analysis, blood spatter analysis, identification counterfeiting and forgery, DNA profiling, ballistics and determining time of death. Students will work independently and as part of a group to use knowledge from biology, chemistry and physics to solve crimes.
